Please help Lincoln
Lincoln was found lying in a local park. She was so malnourished and weak that she had trouble standing. After a good meal, she was carried to the local vet where her condition was assessed. It turns out that the severe neglect that Lincoln has suffered has resulted in heartworm disease and a couple of large tumors.
Lincoln is currently in the care of an APL volunteer, where she is gaining strength every day. She amazes her foster parents, because despite the cruelty she has obviously endured, she is incredibly sweet, has no food aggression, is housetrained and enjoys human company.
The heartworm treatment is the most urgent of her needs and we need to raise the funds in order to get her on the road to recovery.
